The same year marked the dawn of Premier Distilleries Ltd with a vision to provide quality alcoholic beverages to the Ugandan market. With the help of High performing Auto Sealing machines we launched our first breakthrough brand “Knock out” which later became a big brand in Uganda

Our R & D team formulated a unique drink called “Coffee Spirit” launched in the year 2005. Till day Coffee spirit has grown leaps and bounds, making it the brand leader among the competitors. The Unique taste of Coffee spirit has an outstanding customer base throughout the country. The same year marked the launch of another brand called “Simba Gin” to cater to the diverse population of Uganda

Packaging innovation brought by our team made a great impact in the Spirit industry with the introduction of “Aseptic packing”. We are proud to say we are a fully integrated company with the launch of our Distillery Unit in Hoima district with a capacity of producing 45,000 liters of ENA per day. The ENA becomes the base of our brands to further blend and pack it as finished products in our bottling plant. The ENA we produce has also been utilised in producing Hand Sanitizers in our subsidiary unit in Kampala. The Distillery Unit has allowed us to maintain high standards consistently in our brands and drastically reduced the timeline in the production of the brands. This way we could keep up our commitment to deliver in time.

The State-of-art filling and bottling facility established in 2018 to pack our brands at an enormous speed to cater to the rising demand in the market. The new KRONES machinery packs our brands in PET bottles, which has eased our supply chain to transport and distribute them countrywide. Premium brands of Gin and Vodka was introduced in glass bottles under the brand names “New Port Gin” and “Wild Deer Vodka”.We have planted sugarcane over 5000 acres. The molasses from the sugarcane after crushing will feed us the necessary raw material to produce high quality spirit and also generate electricity.

For the first time in Uganda Blended Scotch Whisky was bottled in Uganda. This was made possible with the help of Angus Dundee Scotland. 9 Barrels & Old Glen are registered brands of Ours in UK. We take pride in bringing the best product from Scotland and bottling it under the supervision of trained technocrats from Scotland.With the expertise of our Blending team, we were able to Blend and bottle a whisky to cater to different segment of the population.
